Clive Nichols is one of the world’s foremost garden photographers. His unique, striking images have brought worldwide critical acclaim and many awards. He has won four awards from the Garden Writers Guild for his flower and garden images and his first book, Photographing Plants & Gardens, which was published in association with the Royal Horticultural Society, quickly established itself as the standard work on the subject and was voted Specialist Garden Book of the Year in 1995. Clive has illustrated many other books including Herb Garden Design, Leaf, Bark & Berry, Planting Companions, The Summer Garden and The Winter Garden.

In addition to his book work, Clive’s pictures are extensively published in magazines and calendars throughout the world. In 1995, a portfolio of his winter photographs published in Garden Design Magazine were chosen by American Photography as amongst the most outstanding photographs published in the USA that year. Clive has run seminars on garden photography for The Royal Photographic Society, The English Gardening School, Oxford University, Botanic Garden and The Royal Horticultural Society.
